 Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia

The opening of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (MBFW) in Sydney presents
E L L E R Y Fall 2015 Collection.... Social-Laneway covers the glimpse of the action.

Start with canapés and cocktails at Mercedes lounge, from here we spotted The Fashionistas including: Lindy Klim, Cheynne Tozzi, Tim Robards, Jackie Frank, Nicole Trunfio, Bambi Legit, Donny Galella, Christine Centenera, Melissa Hoyer, Alex Perry, Pip Edwards, and Gemma Ward just to name a few....

The show starts with "black-swan" ballet act, it was beautiful. Then the "smoke" effect generated through-out the room follow by up-beat music, which really makes you want to groove! Well, Cheyenne did a little head bopping... (Don't blame her). Gemma Ward leads the runway, the whole collection was divine - clean cut, understated yet fashion forward at the same time. Kym Ellery certainly got the talent. The wrap-up was a celebration - small of silver foils falling from the ceiling.... The Silver snow!

Find Ellery collection at (launch in June) xx

"Social-Laneway Espresso" Shop 5/157-161 Redfern Street, REDFERN

When we (Robert and I) decided to open Social-Laneway Espresso, we were fully aware of how many amazing cafés are out there......

It didn't stop us because we believe; we have strong concepts to make this work! We are passionate about what we do and we have been true to our original idea since day 1....

This suburb has shown us nothing but OPPORTUNITY!
We love the community, the quirky small bars, the furniture/homeware shops (antique, modern or retro) and not to mention Eveleigh market every Saturday - Kylie Kwong dumpling, fresh produce products (fruit, vege, bread, and more) and they are just around the corner from us!!
And another thing about Social-Laneway Espresso's speciality is our "blackboard quote...."
It changes daily and it can be sourced from our customers, something we thought of, or messages from our Facebook friends!
